Meet Humphrey, our new golf cart

We bought a golf cart. Not for golf.

Nobody in this house plays. Around here a cart is fun transport. The roads in our community are private, so you can drive for miles without ever touching a public road, and it turns a trip to Publix into something you look forward to.

We found a place that builds custom golf carts. They strip an old one down to almost nothing and then build it back up. Humphrey started life as a 2021 Club Car Tempo. Repainted, with new seats, wheels, lights, and other stuff you can’t see.

The name is my wife’s doing. She names things. The alligator that swims in the water behind our house has a name. So do some of the larger birds that come here regularly to fish. So it wasn’t surprising that the golf cart got a name too.
