Robinson Preserve

Spent this morning walking the trails at Robinson Preserve in Bradenton.

We made our way to the observation tower and stopped at the top for a while. From up there, you can see how the whole place fits together: mangroves, salt marshes, and waterways winding through all of it. On the trail, you only see the bit right in front of you.

It was a really nice way to spend the morning together, and a good excuse to get outside.

We didn’t have much of a plan. We just picked a trail and kept walking until we found the tower. Sometimes that’s all you need.
